arrow-rotate-rightRevalidate Transactions

With this tool, you can retrieve activated hours with flexibility that could not be validated correctly, either because measurement values arrived after delivery validation or because they are completely missing. By completing missing measurement values and performing a revalidation, you can improve follow-up data in SWITCH and avoid settlement handling outside the platform.

Select resource and time period

circle-info

Only resources that have the setting "Allow validation reading correction" activated can be handled with the tool. To change resource settings, see the Resources section.

At the top right, you can select which resource you want to manage and for which time period. Note that it is not possible to go further back than 35 days in the history.

You will see a summary of transactions and quantities as well as a detailed list of activations.

Upload readings

At the bottom of the page, you will find the "Download template" button, which creates a file based on the listed transactions. Open the downloaded template in, for example, Excel and fill in power values per hour (specified in Megawatts). If decimal values need to be entered, use a period and not a comma, i.e., for example 1.5 and not 1,5. Remember to save the file.

When the template is ready, you can upload it by selecting "Open file". Locate the saved file and double-click on it. All measurement values that can be updated are now displayed with the status "Added from template":

You can update readings by changing power values in the template and uploading it again, which overwrites existing values.

Check that everything looks correct and use the "Save readings" button. You need to confirm that the values should be saved. Transactions with uploaded values will then receive the status "Ready for revalidation".

Finalize revalidation

circle-info

In cases where the revalidation of transactions affects other network owners, this will be specified on the page. Affected network owners will also be informed via email.

Example: The network owner organizations DSO1 and DSO2 have both activated flexibility from the resource FSP1. During delivery validation, measurement values are missing. DSO1 (which qualified and manages the resource FSP1) chooses to upload measurement values afterwards. For the hours activated by DSO2, the uploaded readings from DSO1 will be used for delivery validation in connection with DSO1 completing its revalidation.

Now you can complete the process with the "Revalidate" button. You need to confirm that the revalidation should be carried out. After that, you can check the updated delivery validation for the affected transactions via the History page.
