Activation
The grid owner’s purchase of flexibility for delivery.
Availability order
Represents the grid owner’s request to prepare flexibility resources for potential availability remuneration, and these quantities can then be activated if needed.
Availability transaction
The result of an allocation of availability, from the grid owner to the supplier. May include availability remuneration for the supplier depending on the status of activation and delivery.
Direct order
Represents the grid owner’s request to prepare flexibility resources for delivery, and these quantities can then be activated for remuneration.
DSO
Distribution System Operator, also known as a grid owner or grid company.
Flexibility order
Represents the provider's offer to deliver to the grid owner, and these quantities can be activated as needed for remuneration.
Flexibility product
Used to define the trading rules for transactions on the flexibility market.
Flexibility transaction
The result of an activation of flexibility, from grid owner to supplier. Can include activation remuneration for the supplier depending on the delivery.
FSP
Flexibility Service Provider
Offer
The provider's offer to the grid owner regarding availability or direct orders. Includes information about activation remuneration for the offered flexibility.
Reference plan
Also called baseline. Indicates the planned level of consumption for a resource if flexibility is activated.
Resource
Assets of a supplier that can deliver flexibility. Can be a heat pump installation, an industry, battery storage, etc.
Substation
Assets of a grid owner that can request availability and activate flexibility according to market behavior.
