Create Offers

Seasonal Availability

If your organization has resources qualified for the product “Seasonal Availability”, you will be notified by email when there are new tenders. On the page Market > View tenders, you can see these under the Seasonal Availability tab.

Manage Offers

Tenders are displayed in a table where you can see time periods, status, etc. You select the relevant resource at the top right. By using the tool button for each row, you can view the schedule (which hours are requested) and create or edit offers for open procurements.

To submit an offer, enter the desired activation price per MWh and the volume you can offer, where 1 MW means availability of 1 MWh/h during all scheduled hours. If the network owner has specified values for endurance and cooldown, you also need to set these. Endurance means the number of consecutive hours a resource can deliver flexibility. Cooldown means the number of hours the resource needs before a new delivery can be performed.

At the bottom, you can see a summary of the offer, with a preview of potential availability remuneration. When you are done, you can save the offer. Until the tender closes, you can edit the offer as needed.

Clearing

When a tender closes, allocation is made according to the lowest activation price per quantity unit, and you will receive a summary of the outcome via email. If a resource in your organization has been awarded, a corresponding order schedule is created, which can be reviewed on the page Market > Seasonal availability.

Availability and Direct Orders

To get notified when it's possible to create offers for new orders you first need to configure your subscriptions.

On the Market > Create offers page, you can view the requested quantities on the market for the products "Availability orders" and "Direct orders," as well as what you can offer through your organization’s flexibility resources. Allocated volumes may lead to the activation of resources for flexibility delivery. Keep in mind that you must upload a reference plan for the hours you intend to offer flexibility to enable full delivery validation and remuneration upon activation. Valid measurement values for the resource must also be available.

Select Resource and Date

At the top right of the page, you will find a list of the resources you can choose from. This selection controls the other parts of the page.

In the middle of the page, above the chart section, there is a date picker. You can click on the date to see all dates in the month and a preview of which days contain orders available for bidding (outlined in blue). You can navigate between months in the date picker and individual days using the larger arrow buttons. Note that the selected date is set as the start, and the next two days (a total of 72 hours) are retrieved and displayed in the chart. You can adjust the number of displayed days using the selector in the top right.

Chart View for Offers and Flexibility

In the chart, you can see a visualization of the maximum you can offer on the market based on demand (blue line), a preview of the offered flexibility according to the recommendation (gray bars), and all previously offered flexibility (black bars). The quantity limit for the selected resource is shown as a red line. Any flexibility offered through the "Seasonal availability" product is also included in the chart view. You can choose which lines to display by clicking on the names at the bottom.

Recommendation & Settings

To facilitate the creation of offers, there is a feature that recommends a list based on the market demand for the selected product. You can adjust the settings to customize the recommendation, such as quantity and price levels. Then, press "Update recommendation" to get a new offer list and visualization in the graph. You can also remove or modify individual offers from the list as needed.

Once you are satisfied with the selection and have reviewed the total compensation, you can proceed by clicking the "Create offers" button, which automatically submits the offers to the market for potential allocation of flexibility.
